Junior Seau’s mother Luisa Seau breaks down in painful video
In the aftermath of the news of Junior Seau‘s tragic death Wednesday, Seau’s mother Luisa Seau understandably couldn’t withhold her emotions as the she addressed the media outside of Junior’s home in Oceanside, Calif. Seau became hysterical as she thanked those who have shown their support for her son. The whole thing is incredibly hard to watch, especially when she screams, “I pray to God, please, take me. Take me. Leave my son. But it’s too late.” We don’t blame you if you can’t finish the video. We’re just passing it along.
As a noteworthy aside, Junior Seau becomes the eighth member of the 1994 AFC Champion Chargers squad to pass away before the age of 45. Seau joins linebacker David Griggs, running back Rodney Culver, linebacker Doug Miller, center Curtis Whitley, defensive end Chris Mims, defensive tackle Shawn Lee and linebacker Lew Bush, all who suffered unexpected deaths from an array of freak accidents and natural causes.
