Pavel Datsyuk Goes Between the Legs on Darren Helm Goal (Video)

The Detroit Red Wings beat the Phoenix Coyotes 4-3 Saturday to go up 2-0 on Phoenix, but their series advantage is not what people are talking about. What has everyone buzzing is the goal Darren Helm scored after Pavel Datsyuk went between his legs to deke Ilya Bryzgalov, setting up an easy rebound. Take a look at the Datsyuk through the legs video to see a true wizard with the puck:

As the announcer said, Datsyuk wasn’t even hot-dogging either, he was just doing something to give himself a better shot on goal and it paid off. With puck handling and improvisational skills like that, is it any surprise Datsyuk had a hand in all four Detroit goals Saturday? Not at all.
