It is not uncommon for athletes who appear in ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue” to catch some flack from their friends when the photos hit the stands. It probably is uncommon, however, for that grief to come from one of their grandparents. Tennis star John Isner knows all about that.
The gentleman you see in the photo above is Isner’s grandfather. Apparently he and some friends decided to heckle John in fantastic fashion by plastering one of his “Body Issue” photos on a T-shirt and wearing it around. Therefore, we have come to the conclusion that John Isner’s grandfather is the man.
Now all he needs to do is strike the Cam Newton pose like Isner did after a win last year. The Superman pose combined with the “Body Issue” shirt would be an earth-shattering combination.
