Watch: Aaron Judge nails runner with 100 mph throw
Aaron Judge unleashed a throw that reached triple digits on the radar gun to nail a runner at home plate on Friday night.
During the third inning of Friday’s game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels, Justin Upton hit a single to right field with Kole Calhoun on second base. Calhoun was given the green light rounding third base to try and score on the play. The ball beat Calhoun to the plate because Aaron Judge let loose a throw that was clocked at 100.5 mph, according to MLB’s Statcast.

Judge has deservedly received praised for his run-producing exploits at the plate. If he can continue to prevent runs in addition to producing them, Judge will boost his already considerable value.
In 155 games last season, Judge had five outfield assists. This was Judge’s third assist so far in 48 games this season.
