Adeiny Hechavarria scored one heck of a run for the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night.
Hechavarria led off the sixth inning against Kansas City with a double. Matt Duffy then singled to right two btters later. Hechavarria was facing a stop sign from his coach but decided to run through it, which seemed like a bad idea. The throw home beat him, but then Hechavarria used some nifty moves to score his run.

The Royals considered whether to challenge the play but decided not to. Catcher Sal Perez is going to have nightmares about that play.
Between this and what we saw over the weekend from Javy Baez, players are taking their slide moves to the next level.
