David Price calls ALDS Game 3 outing his best moment with Red Sox ‘by far’
Boston Red Sox lefty David Price is flying high after helping his team stay alive in their ALDS series against the Houston Astros.
Price, who pitched four scoreless innings in relief as Boston earned the 10-3 victory in Sunday’s Game 3, said afterwards that the outing was his best moment in a Red Sox uniform “by far,” per Nicole Yang of Boston.com.

Between persistent injury troubles and some head-scratching in-house issues, the ex-Cy Young winner has had a rather rocky tenure in Boston since signing a seven-year, $217 million deal with them less than two years ago. But the Red Sox recently made the call to pitch Price out of the bullpen (much like he did for Tampa Bay during their 2008 World Series run), and it seems the decision is already paying off nicely for them with new life in the divisional series.
