Will Smith has been a revelation for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Smith, a first-round pick by the team in 2016, was called up to make his Major League debut earlier this season. He lasted about a month though he only played sparingly. The team recalled him in July and he has been knocking the cover off the ball since. Smith has three homers and 13 RBIs in six games since being recalled.
The best part about Smith might just be his walk-up music. His at-bat song is the theme song from the ’90s TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

The show ran for six seasons from 1990-1996 and starred Will Smith, helping to launch the actor’s extremely successful career.
The Dodgers’ Smith is really leaning into the whole name sharing thing. His Instagram handle is appropriately “freshprinceoflad“.
Smith is choosing wisely with his at-bat music and Instagram name; we love it.
