Minnesota tourism website is fully embracing Anthony Edwards’ viral quote
Minnesota’s official state tourism website is having a lot of fun with Anthony Edwards’ viral quote.
After the Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals on Sunday, Edwards went viral for his message to Charles Barkley in a postgame interview. Barkley admitted he had not been to Minnesota in years, prompting Edwards to tell him to “bring your a–.”
Edwards’ choice of phrase went viral to the point that even the state tourism department is embracing it. On Monday, they shared a post directing people to the “Explore Minnesota” website, complete with an Edwards-inspired graphic.

As of Monday afternoon, the quote even features prominently on the front page of the website.
That was not all. Minnesota-based comedian Jon Savitt purchased the domain name bringyaa–.com (censorship by LBS) and redirected it to the aforementioned website, which got him a shoutout.
Thank you for your service to the state of Minnesota! πππΊπ https://t.co/dj5tnl8CT2

The state might as well have a lot of fun with this. The Timberwolves are in the midst of their deepest playoff run in two decades, and if Edwards is going to offer them a viral marketing slogan, there is no way they shouldn’t take it.
