Awesome Jaylen Brown tweet from five years ago goes viral during playoff game
Jaylen Brown is having another solid season for the Boston Celtics and will continue to play a major role in the playoffs, and let’s just say one of his high school teachers could have never seen this coming.
During Game 1 of Boston’s series against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, a tweet that Brown sent five years ago when he was 17 went viral. He wrote the tweet when he was still at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga., and apparently a teacher had just told him he’s going to end up in jail in five years.
My teacher said she will look me up in the Cobb county jail in 5 years .. Wow

It’s safe to say that prediction turned out to be wildly inaccurate.
Brown enjoyed great success at the University of California before becoming the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He was one of the main reasons the Celtics reached the Eastern Conference Finals last year without Kyrie Irving or Gordon Hayward, and he is once again a key player for them this year.
We’re typically used to seeing old tweets from athletes dug up to make them look bad, but the one Brown sent five years ago has drawn strong reactions for a much different reason.
