Cheick Diallo agrees to two-year deal with Suns
The Phoenix Suns have added even more depth to their frontcourt.
The Suns and Cheick Diallo agreed to a two-year deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Wednesday.
Diallo was a second-round pick out of Kansas in 2016 and became a free agent after the Pelicans declined to tender him a qualifying offer.
In his third season with the Pelicans, Diallo averaged 6.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in 14 minutes per game. He joins a Phoenix team that has Deandre Ayton and Aron Baynes at center, as well as Dario Saric and Frank Kaminsky at the four.
