The Los Angeles Clippers are off to a scorching 10-1 start to the 2016-17 season, and they may owe part of that success to the improved vision of their All-Star point guard. Literally.
Speaking with reporters at shootaround on Wednesday, Chris Paul said that he underwent LASIK eye surgery this past summer, per Dan Woike of the Orange County Register.

The 31-year-old Paul isn’t the first NBA player to undergo the vision correction procedure, but he’s already seeing some noticeable improvement because of it (no pun intended). A career 36.8 percent three-point shooter, Paul is connecting on 47.3 percent of his three-point attempts so far this season, easily a career-high.
With the Clippers pulverizing opponents by an average of 16.6 points per game through their first 11 contests (the best differential in the league by a wide margin), the rest of the NBA is getting a good look at just how deadly Paul and Lob City can be they’re when firing on all cylinders.
