Drake doesn’t just attend Toronto Raptors games as an ambassador to enhance the franchise’s brand and make the team seem cool. He’s there actually helping the team try to win.
In the final minute of Monday’s Raptors-Bulls game, Drake got in the ear of Bulls guard Justin Holliday, who was trying to inbound the ball with 25 seconds left. Drake was urging for a five-second violation to be called, and he got it.

The five-second violation gave the ball to the Raptors, who had a chance to tie the game. They made a layup and were down by one, 106-105.
Toronto eventually lost 109-107, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort on Drake’s part.
With actions like that, it’s all the less likely Toronto will comply with the NBA’s wishes and strip the rapper of his official title.
