There are a lot of people out there who dislike Draymond Green, but he’s not too worried about it.
Green was dismissive of a tweet by actor Andrew Polk, who said he hoped Green would get shot in the face leaving New Orleans. Here’s the tweet by Polk — a seeming attempt at a joke that went wrong — which has since been deleted.

Green was asked whether he fears for his safety after threats like that. He said he doesn’t.
“Yeah, I heard about that. No, I don’t (worry for my safety). If he feel the need to do something like that about basketball, then I feel bad for him. It’s kind of sad that someone would take this that serious. At the end of the day, it’s a game. Making death threats, talking about life — I just pray that he gets the help that he needs,” Green said.
“I don’t worry about it. I don’t care that much about it. I care about basketball; I don’t care that much.”
Green may recognize that was said as a poor joke, which is why he’s not too worried. Or maybe he’s more concerned than he’s letting on. Or maybe Green is so used to people making threats to him that this is just nothing new.
