Joel Embiid remembers playing against the new general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Embiid had an amusing reaction after Elton Brand was named Sixers’ GM — namely the fact that he remembers dunking on the guy not long ago.

This must have happened in practice. Brand was a Sixer in the later days of his career, and he and Embiid never opposed each other in an NBA game. But why let facts get in the way of a good Joel Embiid quote? They definitely shared time in the league together, albeit briefly and with Embiid still battling the foot injury that cost him two seasons.
