The New York Knicks may not be a desirable free agent destination for many players, but Julius Randle seems pretty stoked about playing for them.
Randle sent a tweet on Tuesday night that said “What you dream about as a kid!” along with an emoji of the Statue of Liberty.

What’s not to be excited about if you’re Randle? The Knicks made him their big free agent signing and gave him $63 million over three years. That’s major bucks for the former No. 7 overall pick.
Randle averaged 21.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists on 52.4 percent shooting last season with the Pelicans. Some of the other players the Knicks are signing in free agency include Reggie Bullock, Bobby Portis, Elfrid Payton, and Taj Gibson. That’s a solid group of players, but obviously means very little to Knicks fans following a year of rumors that they were getting Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
