Kevin Durant wants you to know that he is nourished by your hatred.
In a recent appearance on Complex’s “Hot Ones” series, the Golden State Warriors forward had a funny remark about being pejoratively nicknamed a “snake” by fans. The term is often used in reference to Durant’s perceived betrayal of Oklahoma City when he signed with the Warriors in free agency.
“I get the snake comment so many times, I might just tattoo one of those on my arm,” the reigning Finals MVP quipped.
While the fan hate had a major adverse effect on Durant when he first picked Golden State, he has been embracing the venom to the fullest this summer now that he is finally an NBA champion. And let’s just say that getting a snake tattoo would certainly be another mighty fine troll job on his critics.
