LiAngelo Ball lands major performing gig
2025 is already shaping up to be the year of LiAngelo Ball.
On Tuesday, the popular Rolling Loud festival officially announced their lineup for 2025. This year’s festival will be held in Los Angeles and is set to feature Ball as one of the performers.

The 26-year-old Ball, who has launched a rap career as “Gelo” and/or “G3,” has taken the world by storm in recent days with his new single “Tweaker.” With its catchy early-2000s-style production, the song has gone massively viral (you might have seen some popular social media accounts in recent days quoting its lyrics, “I might swerve bend that corner woah”).

Ball’s song has also been getting played in the locker room by many pro sports teams. That includes the NBA’s Chicago Bulls (who have Ball’s older brother Lonzo on their roster) and the NFL’s Detroit Lions (who played the song after clinching the No. 1 seed in the NFC over the weekend).

Professional basketball didn’t quite work out for Ball, who never made it beyond the G League and Summer League circuits and most recently spent time last year playing for some unconventional teams. But now Ball’s career as a professional rapper has taken off, and he is set to take his act to Rolling Loud (just like another former athlete in Antonio Brown did years ago).
