Marshawn Lynch on Splash Brothers: ‘Those light-skinned guys can play’
What does Marshawn Lynch think of the Splash Brothers, Golden State Warriors stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson? Well, apparently he thinks “those light-skinned guys can play.”
ESPN’s Marc J. Spears wrote an article about Draymond Green’s experience watching Game 5 of the NBA Finals from the Oakland Coliseum, next door to Oracle Arena where the Warriors were playing on Monday. Green could not play in the game due to a suspension, so he rented a suite for the A’s-Rangers game and was joined by Bob Myers and Lynch in the suite.
Spears also dropped this interesting line where Lynch apparently praised the Splash Brothers in an interesting manner:
After Warriors guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson made a few shots, a source said Lynch blurted out, “Those light-skinned guys can play.”
The Warriors ended up losing 112-97, but that apparently came after they had made a few shots. Thompson scored an impressive 37 points on 11-for-20 shooting, including 6-for-11 on threes and 9-of-9 at the free throw line. Curry’s shot wasn’t quite as wet, as he went 8-for-21 for 25 points.
