Spurs reportedly reach deal with Marcus Morris
The San Antonio Spurs are trying to remain relevant in a deep Western Conference.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Spurs have agreed with forward Marcus Morris on a two-year, $20 million deal.
Free agent forward Marcus Morris has agreed to a two-year, $20M deal with the San Antonio Spurs, with a second-year player option, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Morris spent the last two seasons with the Boston Celtics. He averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game last season, primarily as a starter.
Morris had widespread interest around the league. He was named as a possible target for the Los Angeles Lakers, but they’ve filled holes by adding other veterans. Ultimately, it’s the Spurs who get him as a key role player.
