Bam Adebayo’s mother gave a great interview after Kentucky beat Wichita State 65-62 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
You may recall that prior to the game, Wichita State talked a little trash, with Darral Willis Jr. saying that Adebayo would be shut down on the boards.
That wasn’t the case at all, as Bam had 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. That led his mom to give this funny interview:

The freshman big man is averaging 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season, so shutting him down doesn’t happen very often.
