De’Aaron Fox: Wichita State trash talk ‘lit a fire’ under Kentucky
You got the sense that after Wichita State talked some trash about Kentucky the day before the teams met in the second round of the NCAA Tournament that there was no way the Wildcats would lose the game. And even though the Shockers put up a good fight, Kentucky prevailed.
After the 65-62 win, Kentucky’s De’Aaron Fox said Wichita State’s pregame trash talk motivated the Wildcats.

Kentucky’s Derek Willis, who had nine points and eight rebounds, had the best response of all.
