Lonzo Ball came up limping after landing hard on his side following a fall just before halftime of UCLA’s first-round NCAA Tournament game against Kent State on Friday night.
Ball was driving for a layup and took a hit that sent him off balance and to the floor. He landed on his side/back and was in pain afterwards.

Ball came out and played in the second half, but he was hurting coming out of halftime, according to truTV’s telecast. The freshman point guard’s injury was termed a hip bruise.
Ball will likely have a lot of icing to do after the game in order to heal.
