Dabo Swinney: Clemson ‘outplayed, outcoached’ in win over North Carolina
Dabo Swinney apparently attended Nick Saban’s school of humility and rat poisoning.
Swinney’s No. 1 Clemson Tigers narrowly beat the North Carolina Tar Heels 21-20 on Saturday after stopping a 2-point conversion attempt with 1:17 left.
The game was too close for Swinney’s taste, and he let that be known. He dogged his team afterwards, saying they were “outplayed” and that he and his staff were “outcoached.”
Dabo Swinney on #UNC: “I thought they outplayed us, I thought they outcoached us. We’re really fortunate to win the game. This was a great crowd, I thought their team was awesome, they showed a lot of heart

Can they really be outplayed if they prevailed? Maybe that’s a matter of perspective.
What’s not disputable is that Clemson was not at its best. All that matters though is that they got the win and are now 5-0 on the season. At least they came up with the big play at the end when they needed it.
Do you give Mack Brown any credit for making it a close game and “outcoaching” Swinney?
