Kelly Bryant to take official visits to North Carolina, Mississippi State
Kelly Bryant is doing his due diligence as he tries to decide his next school.
The former Clemson quarterback has taken official visits to Arkansas and Missouri already, and an unofficial visit to Auburn. Next up will be official visits to North Carolina and Mississippi State, according to Rivals’ Woody Wommack.
Bryant said of his decision he is trying to “get this right.”
“I’m still trying to talk to more schools and make sure I get this right,” Bryant told Wommack. “I need to make sure I establish the right type of relationship and make the right choice. The end of November is my goal to make a final decision.”
This will mark Bryant’s second visit to North Carolina. He was there last month and received a warm welcome from the students. Recruits are allowed five official visits, so Bryant is trying to decide which school will get his last one.
Bryant left Clemson this season after losing the starting quarterback job to freshman Trevor Lawrence. As the team’s starter last season, he threw for 2,802 yards, 13 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, while rushing for 11 scores. Bryant will have one season of eligibility left as a graduate transfer.
