The Nebraska Cornhuskers may have one fewer quarterback on the roster entering the fall.
Noah Vedral is entering the transfer portal, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman reported on Tuesday.
SOURCE: #Nebraska QB Noah Vedral is entering the transfer portal. Vedral, who began his career at #UCF, played in six games in 2019. He started two games for the Huskers. Vedral is a grad transfer with almost a 4.0 GPA and has two years of eligibility left.

Vedral played his freshman season at UCF in 2017, passing for a touchdown and rushing for two. Then he transferred to Nebraska, for whom he started two games last season. He passed for 418 yards and ran for three scores last season for the Huskers. Vedral also had a brief membership on the school’s basketball team.
Nebraska still has Adrian Martinez and Luke McCaffrey on their roster at quarterback. Martinez had a nice freshman season but took a step back last year, so head coach Scott Frost will be hoping for more from the QB next season.
