Look: Nick Saban reacts to Tua Tagovailoa’s pick-six on first possession
Alabama’s performance in the National Championship Game on Monday night against Clemson did not get off to a good start.
The Crimson Tide fell behind early 7-0 after Tigers cornerback AJ Terrell intercepted Tua Tagovailoa and returned it for a touchdown on the Tide’s first possession of the game. Clemson had blitzed, leading Tagovailoa to get rid of the ball quickly. Instead, Terrell read the pass perfectly and jumped in front for the interception and touchdown.

Of course, Tagovailoa quickly made up for the pick-six by throwing a long touchdown to Jerry Jeudy three plays later, so it was all good.
