Shedeur Sanders takes dirty shot to his knees from Kansas DE
Shedeur Sanders is one tough hombre.
Sanders was nailed in the knees after throwing a pass in the second quarter of his Colorado Buffaloes’ game at the Kansas Jayhawks at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Saturday.
Jayhawks junior defensive end Dean Miller went charging after Sanders and dived straight into the quarterback’s knees after Sanders had already released the ball.

No penalty was called on Miller for that hit.
Sanders not only completed the pass he had thrown before Miller’s hit, but the Buffaloes quarterback remained in the game and did not miss a play. He even led CU to a touchdown on the drive to narrow the gap to 20-14 in favor of Kansas.
The way Sanders responded to the hit had NFL draft folks lauding his toughness.
Put "toughness" in the pros column for Shedeur Sanders.

How freakin’ tough is Shedeur Sanders?!

I talk to NFL front offices quite a bit. The one word that keeps coming up for Shedeur is "tough". Taking an egregious hit like that and getting right up is what they're talking about.

Sanders’ response to the hit is just another reason why so many people believe he should be the first quarterback taken in the 2025 draft.
