Report: Texas targeting Graham Harrell, Joe Brady, Chris Ash for coordinator positions
The Texas Longhorns have vacancies for both offensive and defensive coordinator positions and already have some names in mind for whom to hire, according to reports.
Texas fired Todd Orlando as defensive coordinator Sunday and reassigned offensive coordinator Tim Beck.
OrangeBloods’ Anwar Richardson reports that Texas is targeting USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell and LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
According to my sources, the top two candidates to replace offensive coordinator Tim Beck at Texas are USC's Graham Harrell and LSU's Joe Brady.

Richardson also says former Rutgers coach Chris Ash is the top candidate to be the new defensive coordinator.
I hear former Rutgers coach Chris Ash is the top candidate to replace Todd Orlando. Ash and Herman worked together at Ohio State. Ash was the defensive coordinator.

Harrell has earned praise in his first season at USC. The Trojans’ offense has seen success with three different quarterbacks, which points to good schemes and coaching. Brady is in his first year as the passing game coordinator for LSU.
LSU is said to be paying Brady at least $1.5 million per season and unafraid to compensate him handsomely. Texas, meanwhile, has expressed that money will never be the reason they lose someone.
It's gonna be fascinating to see if Texas AD Chris Del Conte can money-whip LSU's Joe Brady. CDC once told me, "We're not losing anyone over money."

Harrell is from Texas, played college football at Texas Tech, and reportedly has interest in the Texas OC job.
Ash, 48, was on the Ohio State staff with Tom Herman from 2014-2015.
