Top high school quarterback recruit Tua Tagovailoa tweeted proof on Thursday of his commitment to Alabama.
The Hawaii product tweeted a screenshot from the Alabama athletics department which confirms his ability to enroll early at the school:
Signed, sealed, delivered.. This will wrap up my recruiting process. Thank you to all. To God be all the Glory and #RollTide pic.twitter.com/jbb6lKxgCO

Tagovailoa is a highly-rated recruit by most services, and one of the top-rated dual-threat QBs in the 2017 recruiting class. He was also believed to be giving consideration to Oregon, UCLA, USC and a few other schools, but he stuck with Alabama, to whom he’d been committed since May.
What’s interesting is that Tagovailoa’s announcement comes a week after new Oregon head coach Willie Taggart headed to Hawaii to visit him. Taggart’s efforts were not enough to change the young QB’s mind.
Bama has freshman Jalen Hurts ahead of him on the depth chart, but the transfer of Blake Barnett leaves some more room for Tagovailoa to show what he can do.
