Willie Taggart: Oregon lacked urgency in second half
College football almost had a replay of the UCLA-Texas A&M situation for the second week in a row.
Last week, UCLA came back from down 44-10 to beat the Aggies 45-44. This week, Oregon was up 42-14 on Nebraska at the half and nearly blew its lead. The Ducks took their foot of the gas and allowed the Huskers to score 21 unanswered points in the second half, making things very close in the final minutes.
New Oregon head coach Willie Taggart says his Ducks lacked urgency in the second half.
On the radio, Taggart says Nebraska got the momentum in second half and UO didn't have "same sense or urgency we had in the first half."

Maybe Saturday’s scare will teach Oregon not to let up next time even when they’re up big. For now, they’re 2-0 under Taggart ahead of a tough non-conference game against Wyoming next weekend before the Pac-12 slate begins.
