Cordarelle Patterson was expected to be a fantasy asset this season (not by me, but others), but so far he hasn’t delivered for owners.
Patterson has 189 receiving yards on 15 catches. He also has rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown. Compare that to last season where he scored nine touchdowns, finding the end zone receiving, rushing and with kickoff returns.
Since rushing for 103 yards in Week 1, Patterson has not seen more than five touches in a game. He said on Thursday that he wants more touches.

“I want to be more involved,” Patterson said via the Pioneer Press. “I don’t know what’s going on. We have a plan. I’m sticking to the plan. I trust coach (Norv) Turner and the whole staff with what they’re doing. It’s going to turn around. Hopefully I get more touches.”
Patterson wanting the ball isn’t just a one-way street; Vikings coach Mike Zimmer says Patterson needs to take care of his part by getting open.
Zim said the coaching staff needs to get Patterson more involved but also that he needs to get open. He felt Patterson did that last night.

And for owners who took the gas pipe thanks to Cordarrelle’s two-catch, 8-yard effort on Thursday night, the wide receiver says he could have finished the game if it weren’t a blowout. I’m sure that will set will with fantasy owners.
