Amazing stat about Dolphins QBs surfaces after Tannehill trade
The Miami Dolphins traded quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans on Friday, leaving their quarterback room incredibly barren.
The only two quarterbacks left on the Miami roster after the Tannehill deal were Jake Rudock and Luke Falk. Rudock has thrown five regular season passes with the Detroit Lions in 2017, while Falk, a sixth-round draft pick in 2018, has never thrown a regular-season pass.
Put another way, that’s 14 fewer combined passes than Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker has thrown in his career.

Hekker is often deployed on fakes, and has served as the Rams’ emergency quarterback in the past. That’s still not exactly encouraging from Miami’s perspective.
Another move is almost certainly in the offing. Either that, or the Dolphins are extremely committed to tanking in a quite unprecedented way.
