Antonio Cromartie may be forced to retire due to hip injury
Antonio Cromartie is still a free agent with training camp set to begin this week, and it sounds like he may have no luck finding work before the season.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that teams are concerned about a lingering hip issue Cromartie has been dealing with. The injury is a big part of the reason there has been little interest in the 32-year-old veteran.
Cromartie took to Twitter to deny that he is thinking about calling it a career.
Look I'm not retirin I have a lot of football left. So these reports r false. I've been busting my ass this off season to play gr8 this yr.

The last we heard, the Miami Dolphins had discussed internally the possibility of signing Cromartie. That was back in May, and there has been nothing on that front since. It seems likely that they have moved on.
Earlier in the offseason, Cromartie named one specific team when asked who he would like to play for. At this point, the former New York Jet is just hoping he gets a call from anyone before September rolls around.
