Denver Broncos rookie running back Phillip Lindsay was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens after throwing a punch at the bottom of a pile.
After Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs forced a strip sack of Denver’s Case Keenum, the fumble pile got a bit raucous, and Lindsay threw a punch to get himself tossed from the game.
Whoa. Broncos star rookie running back Phillip Lindsay threw a punch during a scrum after Suggs' strip sack, and the officials eject him.

Lindsay had been looking to build on the big game he had last week, in which he ran for 107 yards on just 14 carries against the Oakland Raiders. An ejection obviously means he won’t be able to do that, and Royce Freeman will likely get the bulk of the carries the rest of the way.
