What do you do when everything is going against you in an offseason and you want to change the topic of discussion among your fans? You make a uniform change!
And that’s exactly what the Cleveland Browns are doing.
The Browns sent an email to select fans on Tuesday that included news about an upcoming “rebranded logo launch.” Here is what was said in the email to Browns Backers Worldwide presidents:
Tom Reed of Northeast Ohio Media Group says the Browns are expected to unveil new jerseys in time for the draft and that the shades of the team’s usual colors will be slightly altered.
Though this sounds cool, there really isn’t a whole lot you can do with the Browns’ jerseys and colors, so we doubt there will be a big change. Smart move though to release this news and take the focus away from the soap opera surrounding Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon.
