A Dallas Cowboys assistant coach fainted while on the sidelines during Sunday’s Week 2 game against the New York Jets.
Late in the third quarter of the game, CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson provided a report. She shared that assistant defensive line coach Shariff Floyd had fainted on the sidelines. Floyd was able to get up and walk off to the locker room under his own power.
Cowboys reporter Michael Gehlken also offered some news on the situation. He said that Floyd fainted around the time Micah Parsons forced a fumble and recovered the ball.
After evaluation in medical tent, Cowboys assistant D-line coach Sharrif Floyd is walking off the sideline to locker room. Really unfortunate. Hopefully he is OK.

Floyd, 32, is in his first season with the Cowboys. He was a first-round pick out of Florida in 2013 and played with the Minnesota Vikings from 2013-2017.
