Report: Dez Bryant likely to visit Browns on Thursday

Dez Bryant will reportedly take a major step toward finding a new home next week.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the free agent wide receiver’s visit with the Cleveland Browns is likely to be next Thursday, and given the importance of the fit, it will be very important to see how the two sides get along.

The #Browns are expecting a visit from free agent WR Dez Bryant during the middle of next week, likely Thursday, I’m told. He’s been waiting for the right fit, so this visit could be as important as whatever contract offer may come. They have to mesh well.

Bryant and the Browns have been in a public dance for a while now. He said Thursday he was ready to visit after previously wanting to wait until he was right to seize his opportunity. Cleveland has been most consistently interested, so we’ll see if the two sides hit it off. If they do, a deal could come quickly.
