Dez Bryant’s finger injury reportedly could keep him out rest of season

The Dallas Cowboys reportedly fear that Dez Bryant’s finger injury could keep him out for the rest of the season.

Nick Eatman of the TrueBlue Fan Club says Bryant is going to see a hand specialist, and that the finger injury could keep him out for the season. The team is awaiting results of the meeting.

Head coach Jason Garrett also reportedly told Eatman that the chances Bryant is placed on injured reserve are 50-50.

This is pure opinion, but I think it’s doubtful that Bryant’s season ends with a finger injury. The Cowboys are 7-6 and are in the mix for a playoff spot in the NFC. I just can’t imagine that Bryant, who is leading the team with 1,028 yards and nine touchdown catches, allows a finger injury to keep him out for the next three games so long as he’s able to tape it up and continue catching balls.

Remember, Bryant did catch a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter on Sunday after injuring the finger. He said after the game that it was a sprain and that they taped it up. Maybe he will maintain that attitude toward the injury.
