Giants not considering benching Daniel Jones for Eli Manning
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones hasn’t quite been able to recapture the success of his Week 3 debut as a starter, but that hasn’t put his job in any danger.
Coach Pat Shurmur said Monday that there was no consideration to benching Jones and bringing Eli Manning back into the fold, stating that Jones would learn from his current struggles going forward.
Is Pat Shurmur considering a change at QB?

Jones has thrown at least one touchdown in each of his starts, but he’s also been intercepted at least once in his last four. On Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, he was sacked eight times, though that has less to do with Jones and more to do with his protection.
While the Giants won’t be giving Manning a route back into the starting job right now, they also seem intent on keeping him for the duration of the season. There’s no guarantee that Jones’ status might not change at some point later in the season, but it isn’t right now.
