Jalen Ramsey: Nick Foles holding Jaguars more accountable
Nick Foles is expected to be a significant upgrade for the Jacksonville Jaguars over what they have had previously at the quarterback position, but that may translate off the field, too.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey praised Foles’ leadership, indicating that the veteran quarterback is holding his teammates more accountable and demanding more out of them than they’ve experienced in the past.
“He’s making us better,” Ramsey said, via Phillip Heilman of The Athletic. “He’s making us kind of be on our — excuse my language — he’s making us be on our s— a little bit more, a little bit sooner than we previously had to.”
Other Jaguars have spoken confidently about what Foles can bring to the team. They seem thoroughly impressed by him so far, but they’ll need the results to translate on the field as well.
