Jermaine Whitehead has Twitter account suspended for lashing out at critics
Jermaine Whitehead lost his mind on social media after the Cleveland Browns’ loss on Sunday, resulting in his Twitter account being suspended and the team issuing a statement.
Whitehead was not credited with any tackles in the 24-19 loss. His effort was widely criticized, including on this play against Denver:

Many fans and even reporters watching the game criticized Whitehead on Twitter. The 26-year-old safety must have sought out the hate after the game, because he replied to a bunch of critics on Twitter, challenging many of them to a fight and even threatening to kill one.
You can see the tweets below, but beware they are profane.

After his Twitter account was suspended, Whitehead moved on to seeking retribution over Instagram comments.

Whitehead is in his second season with the Browns and third in the league. He entered Sunday’s game with 41 tackles on the season. He was cited two years ago for speeding on the way to Packers practice and was ejected from a game last year for slapping an opponent.
