Jerry Jones not thrilled by Ezekiel Elliott visiting marijuana dispensary

Ezekiel Elliott

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott visited a marijuana dispensary in Seattle, and owner Jerry Jones isn’t thrilled.

Seattle is full of legal recreational marijuana shops, and according to TMZ, Elliott visited one of them before Dallas’s preseason game against the Seahawks.

Elliott wasn’t seen making any purchases, and visiting the legal dispensaries is something of a tourist attraction for some people. Still, Jones made clear that the optics are not great.

“It’s just not good,” Jones said, via David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. “That’s a part of just really getting the big picture here.

“In general while it may not be wrong it’s just not good,” Jones added. “I don’t want to say anymore.”

On its own, it’s not really a problem, but Elliott’s introduction to the NFL has occasionally been a bumpy one. Jones is right that even if Elliott didn’t do anything wrong, it’s not a great look.
