Jimmy Garoppolo is reportedly healthy enough to start for the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Kirk Minihane of WEEI reported Friday that Garoppolo will be the Patriots’ starting quarterback against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Garoppolo has been practicing all week, and with Tom Brady set to return for Week 5, he only has to survive this game and the Patriots will have gotten what they needed out of him.
The question becomes how effective Garoppolo will be. He may have practiced, but the indications are that his shoulder hasn’t been one hundred percent. Of course, the Patriots have had little trouble holding down the fort with their backups, so they probably only need him to be good enough on Sunday.
