A number of details have emerged about why the Cleveland Browns made such a sudden decision to move on from Josh Gordon, and the star wide receiver has seemingly responded to them.
In his Instagram story on Monday morning, Gordon recorded a video of an ESPN TV report that claimed he “broke the Browns’ trust.” He said a whole lot about it without saying much at all.

There have been many reasons listed for why the Browns have decided to either trade or release Gordon, and they range from him showing up late for work to possibly having another relapse. Cleveland stood by Gordon despite multiple failed drug tests and suspensions, so something must have happened for them to release him one week into the season.
If it was simply a matter of both a player and team growing tired of one another, Gordon should have plenty of suitors.
