With the NFL Draft rapidly approaching, mock drafts can be found seemingly everywhere and speculation about when players will be selected is a hot topic with football fans. Among the more discussed players is Marcus Mariota, who could be wearing Redskins colors if he falls to them at No. 5.
TMZ recently caught up with rapper Method Man, who offered some advice for the former Oregon Ducks quarterback on what not to do during his first season as a professional.
There have been some who have questioned whether or not Mariota’s skillset would translate well to the NFL or if he was just a really good college quarterback. However, his character and demeanor have been praised universally so I would imagine the chances of seeing Mariota throw up the “money sign” like Johnny Manziel are slim to none. That said, it was nice of Method Man to pass along a heads up along with a few kind words, in the most Method Man way possible.
