The New England Patriots will be trying to overcome the loss of Tom Brady in 2020, and they will have to replace a key member of their football operations department as well.
Patriots college scouting director Monti Ossenfort is leaving the team to become the director of player personnel for the Tennessee Titans, Albert Breer of The MMQB reports.

Ossenfort is highly respected among NFL circles. He interviewed for the Cleveland Browns’ general manager job earlier this year, and the Houston Texans asked for permission to interview him for their GM job on multiple occasions over the past two years but were denied. Ossenfort has been with the Patriots since 2003 and in his current role since 2014.
There had been talk that the Patriots could see a mass exodus of front office executives, but they put some of that to rest when they signed director of player personnel Nick Caserio to an extension earlier this year. Retaining Caserio was key, but Ossenfort will not be easy to replace.
