For the second consecutive week, Odell Beckham Jr has been criticized for his antics during a New York Giants loss. And rather than take responsibility for his actions, Beckham has continued to blame everyone but himself.
On Monday, the star wide receiver shared an interesting quote on Twitter:
"Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid." pic.twitter.com/wzLFJnGamb

The quote comes from a poem called “Invictus” that was written by English poet William Ernest Henley. Some quick Google research will tell you Henley wrote the piece after having his leg amputated in 1875.
What does it mean to Beckham? Only Odell knows the answer to that, but the thing we know is that he needs to control his emotions better and stop costing the Giants with dumb penalties. After he picked up a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct in the second quarter of New York’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings Monday night, even one of his own teammates chose not to defend him. That should tell you all you need to know.
