Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen suffered a nose injury during “Thursday Night Football” against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Olsen caught a 16-yard pass in the second quarter to set the team up at the Tampa Bay 42 and was rolled to the ground. He came up grabbing his face and headed towards the sideline.
NFL Network later showed Olsen on the sideline grabbing at his nose, with blood coming out.
@TroyAikman says Greg Olsen is taking a "breather" lol he's so bad at his gig it's incredible! No Troy, his nose is jacked up! There is more to the @NFL than the Cowboys. #pleaseretire @NFLonFOX pic.twitter.com/IQflKxd7n4

Olsen later reentered the game on the team’s next drive. He was shown with a big piece of cotton shoved up his left nostril to absorb the blood.
The 34-year-old caught four passes for 36 yards in Week 1 against the Rams. Olsen was listed as questionable for Thursday’s game due to his back.
