The 2019 Pro Bowl featured three second-year quarterbacks, which is something Patrick Mahomes made note of.
The Kansas City Chiefs QB was joined at the Pro Bowl by Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans and Mitch Trubisky of the Chicago Bears. Mahomes, who was a Pro Bowl MVP and is a favorite to win league MVP, sent a tweet about that after the game:

Whether the chatter stated that the 2017 QB class was a bad one or not depends on where you look, but the simple presence of Mahomes makes it look great. Watson has also been a special performer, and even Trubisky is looking better than some thought he would be. They’ve already surpassed expectations, well, except for one member.
