Patrick Mahomes receives MVP chants after throwing 50th touchdown pass
Patrick Mahomes received some deserved adulation from the fans in Kansas City after achieving an impressive milestone on Sunday.
Mahomes threw an 89-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson in the third quarter of the Chiefs’ game against the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. The touchdown pass was Mahomes’ 50th of the season, making him a 5,000-yard passer with 50 TDs.
After the touchdown pass, Mahomes received deserving “MVP” chants from the fans.

The only other QB to hit both milestones in the same season is Peyton Manning. That’s some excellent company for Mahomes, and even more impressive considering it comes in his first full season as a starter.
